Introducing the all new P&P Performance “Velociraptor” trim system. The trim that set the standard and revolutionized performance just got better! Double backflip ready, the Velociraptor will take your riding to the next level!
Features include:
-Additional 4 degrees trim over original Raptor
-True 5 degree billet 6061 reduction with bolt on ears.
-Gusseted ears for unmatched strength and durability
-Ears have small amount of radial float to allow perfect mating to hull after shimming
-Integrated, bullet proof cable mount on left ear
-Integrated tow hook on right ear
-No welding anywhere on this kit
-Replaceable steering arm, available in custom ratios if desired
-Proprietary pin system allows perfect end play, with no bolts to loosen or back out. Perfect flush fit on inside allows perfect water flow
-Oversized bushings to increase life and minimize friction
-(Replaceable) nylon wear pad built into trim ring to minimize wear. No metal to metal contact.
-Stainless steel spring tabs for return spring provide a clean and secure attachment point
-Minimal flow seal overhang maximizes thrust
-No lube required
-“Cable saver” trim cable linkage/hardware virtually eliminates cable failure
-Std 8mm holes for 155 and up oem pump hardware
-Works on 144/148 pumps as well (using oem reductions)
-Black hardcoat Anodize included as standard finish (also available in raw billet if requested)
-Sold 100% complete…..includes billet reduction, billet trim ring, billet steering nozzle, all SS hardware, cable, lever, SS steering linkage, and SS trim “cable saver” linkage.
-No less than 4 riders have utilized the original Raptor to double backflip, including Flatwater doubles from Lee Stone (2019) and Eli Kemnitz (2021)….and boat wave doubles from Taylor Kress and Chris Anyzeski. James Juvet joined the double club in small surf with the Raptor trim.
A little history on the Raptor trim……The Raptor was designed in 2018 as a solution to the void in the aftermarket trim market. There were billet units, cast units, units with flow seals, and units with tight tolerances…..but none seemed to check all the boxes of fit, finish, completeness, ease of installation, durability, and performance.
As a builder, I set out to create a product that would perform as good (or better) than anything on the market, be 100% complete, be durable, and have a quality fit/finish that allowed hassle free installation and trouble free use. I never intended to sell them, only to solve the issues (any and all of them) that I saw as a builder, and have them available for use in builds. I showed up in Daytona with a prototype, and the rest is history.
Demand was high enough to motivate us to move forward with production. In the 2 1/2 years these trims have been on on the market, we’ve had virtually no failures….(a few hardware issues on the first batch, and a few cable issues prior to the hardware package upgrade we now include,) but no hard failures, no parts breaking, no weld failures, no rubber failures/blowouts, and we’ve yet to sell a replacement bushing kit due to the bushings wearing out. Every part of this kit was over engineered to be the best performing and most reliable product out there. Cost was never factored in, only using the best quality parts and making the best parts. It costs what it costs, but there’s a reason for it.
There’s a reason you never see Raptor trims for sake…..Compare our kit head to head with anything out there, and you’ll see the difference is in the details.
With all manufacturing now under one roof, look for improvements in fit, finish, quality control, and most importantly….availability.
