People love SKAT Mag Pumps, but does anybody run a Solas Pump

Was pointed out to me that Solas sells a full aftermarket pump... but have never heard of anybody running one?

Who has one? How does it compare to the Mag?

I had a 148 6 vien on a 5mm big bore
It was lighter than a skat and hooked up well
Was really to big for my set up so proping was a pita

I have a 140 mm 12 vain solas pump on one of my REV ski's. Works great. I would also be willing to sell it so I fund another project.

I am curious also about the solas pump are they over priced or comparible. I guess I will have to give dave a call he treated me excellent on x-2 impeller's he's a wealth of knowledge.

They used to make a 6 vein replacement pump as well
it was better than the stock pump

Butch had one of those before. It was a beautiful pump, but he treats his stuff like crap, so it didnt last long. Gargled rocks with it one day.:banghead:

I would love to have one of those.
