Permanent Sealant Remover…..really?

I will be interested to see if this product really works. If they actually have made something that will remove 5200 and other permanent sealants.

It helps soften it up a bit, but is not a magic 5200 debonder. Still is a pain scrapping it off or removing whatever is glued down. I had to take a swim platform off a yacht that had a gallon of 5200 on it, id let it soak and apply pressure and eventually got it off. A hot putty blade helped too.

There are plenty of chemicals that soften any sealant. They also eat epoxy and polyester so it’s not ideal for fiberglass boats.

If it's from Jamestown I would totally trust it
