Freestyle PFP Header Pipe

Anyone ported/ground out the header pipe to
Match the cylinder for a PFP - mine seems miles out!

Its a casting so there is going to be some mis-matching. A light matching should only help.

Haven't heard of this problem yet but it could be slightly off im still waiting for my motor but I know I will be slightly sanding down the burrs and inside cast marks with a porting tool

me - when matched to my 865 screamer - one side of the ports is a good 3mm out of line - I used a gasket to transfer the profile

hmm might have to do that, are you using an oem gasket?

no using an OEM gasket thats been cut to match my 865 X scream cylinders

Yes - I did it 3 times on my manifold.

first for the my Lamey cylinder, then XScream did it for the 865 and again for the 1000.

first put the gasket on the motor side, cut / ground it out, then transfer to the manifold, and repeat.

the job XScream did on mine is beautiful!
