PFP pipe + Braap Werks Tank = ???

So thought i was going to get my ski together tonight but my 5.5g tank is not playing nice. Does anyone else run this with a PFP? I bought it specifically to run with it but after shoehorning the tank in the ski, the corner of it is rubbing right up against the stinger right before the water box, and it is pushing the waterbox off center so that the coupler is at an angle now. Pretty sure the stinger is going to brake off after just a little bit of ride time. I will upload some pictures tomorrow once my phone is charged back up. But hoping someone can give me some input on how they made it work.

Thanks in advance

Who did you buy the tank from?

I thought so. I also thought you had that in a ski already. Your not going to hear much on this because I only ever built two 5.5 gal with no guarantee it would work with a PFP. I also was running a custom waterbox with that tank.

That's also why there are no 5.5 gals on the market with batt tray for pfp

Well, disappointed to say the least. The whole point of these tanks was so that they would work with pfp and rrp pipes. When i bought it I was not aware there was only 2 made or that it wouldn't work. My bad i guess

I broke my stinger off welded a bung in it and added a brass fitting with the 5 gal limited slip tank cut the tank and have it welded maybe brapworks will hook you up with the welding

Sorry you were miss led. I was not aware you were going to be running it with a lay down style pipe. It fit great with a b pipe in any ski and that's why I had an installed pic of it in the for sale listing. I can modify and re powdercoat it so you don't have to search for another tank. I only made two because I was bet by someone I couldn't fit a 5.5 gal in a backie chan. All my other tanks work with current pipes available.

Will PM you, really appreciate the follow up on this. I wasn't trying to say you misled me by any means, i just assumed it would work since it was this style of tank. I really like the tank and would prefer to run it.
