Freestyle pipe coating ?

hello, have a new b pipe in my rn 2001,but after After some time I see that the coating just after the coupler starts to looke strange,
the coating is not smooth anymore ??(is there anybody else with this problem?)'m thinking to sand it and polish the pipe,is that possible?

weird the coupler is still like new,just put the pipe on the ski,have not turned the screws! botom and top looks open en mid is close.
How can I test this??( have I damage to the pipe now?)

oké, but two screws are already open how can he still hot?
lines are all open have checked,could easily blow. (damn... is brand new pipe hope have don no damage)

did you check the top screw at least to see if it is open? don't just look at it, get out the wrenches and check:

- put the allen wrench in the screw and hold it so it doesn't turn during the next step. Note the position of the allen wrench on the "clock".
- use the open-end wrench to loosen the nut, and spin it up out of the way (a few turns at least)
- slowly rotate the allen wrench clockwise until it stops (nice and gentle), noting the final position on the clock.

How far did the allen wrench turn?

You did also re-jet the carburetors when you put the pipe on, right?
