pipe cooling line question

the cooling line on my exhaust that usually hooks up to the tailcone is routed directly to my waterbox (supertrapp). the tailcone fitting is just plugged up..... obviously the previous owner was trying to remove all the water out of the pipe - any advantages to this, i hate it b/c my pipe basically sizzles at the cone.

should i re-route it back to the pipe cone and plug the waterbox one up? or maybe just re route my entire s*it up, jetworks, etc....

any help is appreciated

dont have pics up, but i am sure u guys can figure it out.

I wouldn't have thought that would have made that much difference since the water line is fed in at the end of the pipe. Try moving it back. It won't make any difference in power.

u mean use stock waterbox also ?

Yes, I would run stock over supertrap any day. Right now both of my x2's have the stock water box (the 780 has a 95 stock waterbox with 2" id fittings). My brothers small pin 750 has the stock regular waterbox and it makes awesome power for what it is. If you are worried about it, drill out a 1" hole into the two baffles on the outlet side of the waterbox. That will help it breath plenty.
