Surfriding Place to ride N Outer Banks.

I am doing a family vacation in Corolla NC July 13 -18th. Of course, I want to take my ski and do some surf riding...Is this possible or do I have to make a jaunt up to Va. Beach? Can I even ride in Va. Beach?

Would love to ride with some people one day.

I'm without a ski currently, or I'd ride with you! Post up on Wavejunkies man. I know that south OBX is a pain to ride, but I'm not sure about the Corolla area. Derm owns a house there.

At the end of the beach road to Corolla Light, there is Beach access- at least there was 10 years ago- where you can 4-wheel or ATV or launch a ski right of the Beach. Sand is a little soft. Wild horse dung was also noted. Nice Surf!

Got a buddy here who has a family beach house in Corolla- he says no more jet skiing there; used to be able to. But it's about 2 hours to Virginia Beach. We could get you out there on the water during the week- there should be a few of us available after work or something for a couple hours of beach riding at the north end. Weekends we're a little more confined to the 8am-10 ride time...

I'll probably cruise the sound looking for cool sea life....but, I want surf! I can ride flat at home. The dates are July 13th-18th. I'd make a 2 hour trip for some Junkie Surf! Let me know when and I'll plan it.

we have a great spot on the north end of our beach now we can ride when ever we want. Check he surf when you get there,if its decent it will be worth your trip up,its a blast here. IF its small or flat,youd be better off saving the 2 hour ride and just stay in sound down there

I rode out the hurricane last week in the OBX. Kill Devil Hills got smacked around a bit but where I was (Duck) it wasn't bad. The surf looked righteous though.
