Freestyle PLEASE Help Fellow Rider Who Got Hurt

It was brought to our attention tonight that Brian "Hollywood Hood" Hood was riding with his buddy and they collided. He ended up with 4 broken ribs, a punctured lung and a bunch of other stuff that hurts. He is a regular working guy like the rest of us enjoying himself in the sport we all love and the bills are piling up quick. Just to add to the chaos, his wife is DUE with their child any minute. If there is any community that can rally together and help out a fellow rider it is the jetski community. Give whatever you can to help them out so that they can focus on recovering from injuries and enjoying their new baby.

yea, i was going to start an RIP hollywood thread after i called him at 10:00 PM last night to ask him where he got his 155 pump shoe for dirt cheap. when he answered he sounded weird. i asked if he was sleeping and he said no, but sounded strange. he said , here talk to my sister. she got on the phone and said brian was in a jetski accident today and is heavily medicated. she named off the grenaded parts and while she was doing so, i could hear him in the background saying, i got :):):):)ed bro. he's pretty funny even when half dead :)= i said , hey bro, get better soon and call when you can. he told me the other day, about him and his buddy doing stupid :):):):) on their 650SXs. this jetski :):):):) is a dangerous game and needs to be played accordingly. hollywood dont smoke dope, drink or do drugs and thats a good thing. you got to keep you whits about you at all times to be on top of your game. i think anybody that drinks, smokes, takes pills or what ever and skis, is a :):):):)ing idiot and needs to be socked on the beach and grounded. this may not be a sport, but if you arte doing manuvers, i consider us atheletes. you dont see pro atheletes smoking, drinking or doing dope while on the bench, between plays. you can get :):):):)ed up and hurt , even being stone sober, I KNOW!

It was a freak accident I was going to do a flat water 180 nose stab Into a flatwater combo flip Next thing I knew there was firetrucks and me floating on a backboard in the water. I guess my buddy was coming to tell me something and pin the throttle too long judge the distance between me and him wrong He hit me in about 30 mph plus... Paramedics said if I didn't have a thick lumbar support impact style vest on with a helmet I would've been a dead man. My buddy that ran into me is a very inexperienced rider And it is his first season on the water. I just want to stress that if you are ever coming up on another rider always make sure he is watching you and you're watching him at all times stuff can happen in a split second. I just want to thank the guys putting this fund together for me I really didn't even know that they went and made it without me even asking them to, stand up guys! I am truly blessed to have great friends and a great wife she is 39 weeks pregnant with my first and only child my little son Jaxon! She started having contractions last night so it's pretty crazy that we are already in the hospital for me LOL. My ribs were broken so bad and I had so much internal bleeding they actually had to put me on life support for an entire day because my body had experienced so much trauma, Also will be needing a little bit of dental work chipped those puppies out. So I completely broke rib number 7,8,9, and 10 Broke number 10 in 2 spots! Punctured and collapsed my left lung which caused a bunch of internal bleeding so I have a tube coming out of my chest draining it along with a catheter in my pecker fun fun... I have been in intensive care since Wednesday at $25,000 a day And won't be getting out for another week :( But seriously I don't like to take handouts but just $5 $10 or 20 bucks here and there makes it so my wife doesn't have to worry about making food she can just bring it to the hospital or eat it while she's at home by herself so any little bit can help I really appreciate it guys I will keep u posted thanks and god bless!

This is what is great about this community. We can support each other in times of need.

Good luck with the new baby too, that's a huge event in life and to be banged up during that sucks. Have a speedy recovery man!
