Some of you may remember Dave Natkie and some of you may not. He was a sponsored rider for JR Magoo's and 24-7 approx 4-5 years ago. Anyway he was supposed to promote the new (At that time) h20-x hood system. Dave didn’t like it and decided he would rather ride a pole ski. Well the owner of Jr. Magoo’s at that time got quite upset and ended up selling most of Dave’s parts.(To cover the costs of "work done to his ski" from the sponsorship) His ski has been sitting for a few years motor less on the side of his house. I have been trying to convince him to get it together to ride again but I have not been successful. So today I picked up his ski and promised to return it to him running and ready to ride. The ski is basically good to go but is missing the main component "The Motor".

Here is a list we have donated so far:
62T Cases (Pancake Pete)
bedplates (IHOP)
flywheel cover (IHOP)
62T flywheel (IHOP)
Starter (IHOP)
62T Stator (D Slicker)
impeller (D Slicker)

It’s a start, but we have a long way to go. I am asking if you have a part lying around that you no longer need / use and could donate to a good cause, please help! Dave is an amazing surf rider and I would love to see him back out on the water...

701 Crank
61x cyl and Pistons
Reeds
Intake
Head
Exhaust (currently has a B pipe but is missing chamber and exhaust manifold)
all other electrical components in the electrical box including the box.
hood
chinpad

hey this is wj from the other side, i also have a stock head if your going that route. are you building a decent mod or full blown bada$$

If I can build him a badass motor I would love to but if not a stock head is better than no head... It would not be right to be greedy about this. I apprecieate everyones responses and generosity!

ive got a stock head and a new headgasket if you need it, if someone wants to tell me how to mill it i will, i work at my engineering shools machine shop

oh and a complete stock 701 exhuast, ill just have to find another door stop...., ive also got a stock set of 701 pistons one is good the other usable

those conversion ski's are fugly!!

Just got a call from Mark at Full Throttle / 24-7 and he is going to donate a hood and also offered to port the cyl. when we get one. He will post the details later. Thanks again to everyone!

I can offer a 701 62t stock cylinder (not ported) that is just lying on the shelf. I need to look at it and see what size it is and see if I have any pistons around that would work. I would make it a fresh bore to donate. I also will give you a new set pro-x pin bearings w/ new oem crank seals.
I have a stock 97 Superjet 38mm carb system with stock reeds and filter adaptors on them with some I think k&ns on them. you need to go thru them as they have been sitting for a least 3 years or so... Just PM me if this helps... Chuck
