Pole spring with RRP pole?

Hello, does anyone know what pole spring to run with the rrp pole? I bought this ski recently and the pole is way to heavy. I think it has an OEM yam spring but I'm not sure on that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It's a 03 sxr 800 hull

I recently bought a ski and the guy had the spring installed incorrectly, almost like it was pushing down, worth checking. I like to snug up the bolts a bit as well but not to much.

Yeah, that looks installed way wrong. The straight leg off the spring should be resting in that perch all the time.

take the oem spring out , if its not new you might want to pre bend it a little more, right now its installed upside down

My pole spring is on the opposite side of the bracket than yours. Starboard side . And yours looks upside down also. I got my pole spring from Jet Manic I believe. The pole I’m running is a Watercraft Factory which is a copy of a Rickter pole.

This is correct. Remove pivot bolt, flip spring around to be on the other side (from port/left to starboard/right) of the pole, reinstall pivot bolt, spring should not be resting in spring perch correctly and holding the pole up a bit.
