For me, because people for some reason watch what I'm doing.

I had a certain person ask me once why I was viewing the printable version of a thread, was I printing it out for evidence, going to delete it and wanted a hard copy, etc etc. I shouldn't have to explain every little thing I do, especially when it was just checking it out for someone else to see if it would print to a pdf.
