Oops

Somehow my camera is lost so I don't have any other pics than these two cell phone pics.

Sleeve is cracked, Cases are cracked, dome is wrecked. Reeds need replacement as well. Crank has a bunch of hours on it and one of the bearings doesn't sound good. Need new positive and negative cables as well. I think I did a good job of killing this one.

It was a .25 over 62T/61X with Xscream porting.

I think it's going to get sent out for big bore sleeves and case porting now.

At least I have another ski to ride.

A long time. That crank was original from 03. But I bought it in 07 with 20 hours on it.

That motor has been under water at least a dozen times. Had two top ends done on it. It looks like the culprit of the blowup was the small end bearing on the rear cylinder though. I could feel the motor going out the whole day riding, and it shut off a few times on me towards the end of the day. Probably chunks of metal galling up on the spark plug. I didn't want to stop as it was nice riding and good waves from Irene.

not sure where I am going just yet. Might pick up a WRIII or vxr pro to steal a 61x motor out of to run for the rest of the season.

I think I want to go stock crank big bore 770ish though. Going to re-use that cylinder and maybe the cases? they need welding at the very least. Probably no good for anything that will make any power.

Maybe Jetworks, XSrcream, Blue?

I like the commitment to ride!

that's a good one. I really like how the intake vomited aluminum chunks.

They are going to need to be welded for sure. Carnage isn't that bad. A small crack on the bottom of the crank area on the rear cyl.

I searched for my camera some more today. I'm ready to just go buy a new one at this point, I think it's gone.

nasty! i think im on the beginning stage of this on my top end. last time i was out it ran really bad and i had to limp it home 6 miles. pulled the plug and found a bridged gap and all kinds of nasty on it. just havnt had time to even crank my ski since school started and its 5 hours away.

cases are repaired and for sale. 150 shipped. The weld might need to be ground down a little inside the cases. I haven't dropped a crank back in there to see if there is enough clearance.
