possible to install spring on pole without removing bracket???

i have it all together ( the pole to the ski)
but ive just noticed that the spring is wrong, ie the part that touches the pole is inside the pole bottom, NOT on the outside as it should be.


Ive ive already seallled the bracket down with selleys( silcon adhesvie) etc so my question is can i fix this up without having to remove the bracket.

if so, can this be done with ones person?

Should be a simple job on a Kawi. Just pull the bolt and readjust.

depends on what ski it is. every spring can be replaced without taking off the handlepole bracket EXCEPT the kawi 750 1992 thru 2002

My bad. I was thinking bout 550's mainly and forgot the 750's have no access to the bolt with the bracket on.

i been fiddling with it, but cant seem to get the spring squeed in enough to get the bolt through,

is this a two man job, requiring muscle OR is there something im missing, ie maybe my spring is different/to extened?


should it be a struggle to get on or what?

alright, ive found a thread thats explained it. ( most threads are dead ends)

looks like i need someone.....
or mod the spring but this will probs ruin it
