I'm trying to post some pictures that I got in an email and every time that I preview my new post all I get is a url address or when I try it with the manage attachments button then it tells me that I have an invalid file. I've tried saving them to my desktop and attaching uploading them and I've tried copying and pasting the link for them. What am I doing wrong?

the images mit be to big! My camera takes like 26 inch pictures and i have to down size them so they will upload here

you may need to resave it as a jpeg. some images are not supported.

Another issue you may have - Ive seen where people save a link to the desktop, then some upload software isn't smart enough to follow the link so you get an error that the ".lnk" file type isn't supported. (or worse you upload/email a useless link to your c: drive..) If you aren't sure about that right-click the file and look at the properties. If the type is 'shortcut' you'll need to go find the target file.
How do I resave the file? I think that is the problem.
