I'm building a powered cart for my house as there is a pretty steep hill on the side of it to get down to the lake.

Before I would need people to help get my ski to the garage or leave it on the beach. I don't want to leave my new ski down there so I'm building a powered cart with my buddy.

I bought a crappy Chinese quad and started chopping it up. It will eventually get cleaned up and painted with some hard plastic slider bunks.

We will be using an electric quad winch for power, so we will be switching sprockets to get it to move at a reasonable speed. It will have forward and reverse.

Few pics of the progress so far.

This is the view from my place, this deck is on the ground level with the front of the house so you can kinda get how hard it is to get a ski to the garage.

hink320 on the x has one, seen a picture, bad ass! he said badvinny from the x? built it 10+ years ago.

Hink throw a pic up for us and Brian.

Dumb question but why not make a cart with a tow hitch and just fab up a junk hitch to put on the quad? That's what I did and I can move it with my hands if need be or I can just hook it up to my atv.

I think someone had a hauler made from a commercial walk behind mower at the Carolina Beach ride last year. I still look at my eXmark and consider it once in a while. lol
