Luke (skywalker) is on his wdk Rok hull with a 1200 cc, kawi 145 mag pump. I'm on a eme signature series hull with a eme 1000 polaris motor, kawi 144 mag.

Luke is getting his around much cleaner than me, I'm still learning and pancaking half of them. Luke can do flatwater backflips with his. Double boat wakes are hard, they just dont have the pop of a nice ocean wave but we make do when we are 24hrs from the coast.

Tom,

Here's some tips from my experiences with flips off v-wakes.
Go faster.
Approach the wake squatting, hanging off the back.
Straighten out, kick out, and pull with your arms once you're in the air.
Have the boats go closer together and play with their speed until you get a nice vertical wall of water. Once the v-wake is perfect, it will have just about as much pop as surf.

i dont want to go faster, it goes too high. Wake board boats would be much better waves than speed hull boats. But I've actually rode out on so I'm getting the hang of it.

Hitting the wake faster should give you faster rotation.
I didn't realize those weren't wakeboard boats. Pretty damn impressive, considering.

There is when u are 42 and overweight! I can barely walk today. Too much fun!!!!!
Likes flips are so quick, he's getting good

Nice riding! I think the wake looks nice and you are getting good rotation, just coming up a little short on a few of them.

Double boat is tricky because the wave is always changing as boats change relative position and distance apart and you must hit it so fast it is hard to time it right.

Looking good tom, it's a shame we can't be young and fearless like luke! It's funny even with a light weight hull it still POUNDS you into the water when you come up short, but the adrenaline rush when you flip makes you feel 20years younger untill the next day. I'm glad I buy my motrin at sam's in the big bottle!!

Kick ass, had a great time yesterday,paying for it today, but worth it indeed! The old man does like to go big, I admit he did get more air than me, but I think he would give some up for more rotation. Great video Tom,I like the different views, some from boat, others from ski. Great camera work from my girlfriend Tara!!!!!! Shes a trooper :)
