price for mint 1998 superjet

i am now going to look at a 1998 superjet

all stock and never in salt only freshwater

its basically really really clean

he wants $2800

is this a good deal maybe $2500

I would offer 2500.00, if he don't take it, 2800.00 is a good price. I pd 3500.00 for my 98 last winter. It came w/Type 4 dry pipe, ADA girdled head,
UMI bars and steering plate w/sealed bearing system, KVPI trigger, Solas prop, Worx grate. I have changed alot about the ski, I am done now, and have 5000.00 in it total! Pretty dam good deal IMO. Had I started w/a new SJ, I'd be 10,000 in it now!!! I'd pay 2800.00 for another one bone stk TODAY.

2800 is a fair price, but like Gil said it's going to take you a nice chunk of change to get it the way you want that's why I always prefer to buy a modded ski.

I picked up a stock mint 03 with a trailer about a year ago for 3250. After getting the ski to the way I wanted it I have about $6000 in it which kinda sucks. Looking back on it I wish I would have waited to buy an already built up ski and saved some money.

its not a great deal its pretty average I would say. If I needed a superjet I would pay that. just get it.

well i BOUGHT IT FOR 2500 CASH

it has 44 mm carbs with kn air filters
r and d rideplate
scoop intake grate
aftermarket impeller

paint is a bit rough

but these are hard to get in socal especially 20 minutes away

i am riding it tommorow at oceanside in the waves.........

ya i WAS riding a 1990 650sx with minimal rides

i probably wont sleep tonight because tomorrow morning im going riding

already have rev footholds to be put in in the near future

.........nothing like a super clean motor compartment
