Seems to only happen when my ski is on the rack and im flushing it out, but when i start it, it gradually increases rpms and then starts screaming. Almost like it goes balls lean and then the only way to kill it is choking it out by holding it wide open.

the ski runs fine in the water i really dont know whats up.... Any insight?

DUde if u cant kill it with the stop switch, U have an airleak. SXRs have a common broblem with blowing the base gasket. Check thAt shiit

pull your carbs apart. I have seen the tiny phillips screw that holds the check valve in place start rusting. the rust particles will get in your low speed jets and cause this problem
