Custom/Hybrid Prop pitch help

Putting a torrent 148 in my xfs. Running a 771 b pipe msd etc but wondering what prop to start with? I ask because my motor is a flat top and doesn't make much low end but has a really strong mid and top end power. I do boat chasing and surf riding but looking for low end pitch to make up for the motor. Any input would be appreciated!

Tried a skat 10-16 in my dasa 850 and was over propped.
Just got it pitch down to 9-15.
148 torrent pump in a Sv1 hull.

I would try 9-15 or 8-14 you can always bore nozzle or space the impellar to get some slip on bottom.
