quick question: i am pulling the flywheel off a yamaha 650. already have the bolt off... does it just pull off? i tried and it wont budge. thanks for any help.

most likely, you are going to need a puller to get it off.

you need a puller or you will damage your cases. You can probably buy one at your local auto parts store.

You can get a decent puller from Harbor Freight pretty cheap if there is one close by, but make sure you get some stronger washers because I bent mine pretty easy. Took me about 2 days before I finally got mine off.
Also make sure you put the nut back in just a few turns so that when it does pop off it doesn't really pop off.

Sorry Shonuff it wasn't until 3 weeks ago that I ever pulled a flywheel. That was something I learned while reading how to do it myself.
