is it better to run a romote fuel pump versus tapping case for second pulse line?

I tapped... when you say "better".. what do you mean??
tapping was better on my wallet
fuel pumps will deliver a higher, more constant and regulated pressure, I would assume.
Some carbs don't come w/ the pulse pump like Full Spectrums... you have to use a remote.

There is no difference in performance. I used a remote last year, because it allows more clearance between the carbs and the exhaust tube, when you run the fuel pump side of the carb(s) out.

Remote fuel pumps can supply higher fuel pressure which helps for single carb set ups. For duals I'm not sure if it would give you an advantage.
