Super Jet Putting a Waveraider 62t in a SN SJ

My friend is pulling a 62t out of a raider and putting it in his superjet that had a 61x in it. Only problem is when he went to swap over his Coffman pipe from the 61x to the 62t he noticed the exhaust manifold bolts are bigger. The only thing I could think of was to drill out the manifold holes. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks

I've heard of this problem before. Waveraiders are 62t cases and cylinders. He could swap his 61x cylinders onto the 62t cases and the pipe would work. Would also get a little better bottom end. Or just drill bigger holes.

Yep, done this a few times, works fine, just drill them out carefully.. The Raider cylinders RIP!

Make sure he uses the Raider exhaust gasket (or a new version of it) because the gasket is metal reinforced paper and a BITCH to drill out as they tear..
