Question about pump removal for a 06 Rn

I have removed the hoses and steering cable and i also removed the 4 bolts that hold the whole setup to the bottom of the ski(like it says to do in this post http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/2466). The problem i am having is getting it to come off i just don't see how it's possible. the post says to push down with a little force and there just doesn't seem to be a good way to do this it's kinda awkward. Anyways lemme know what i have to do to get the pump unit off or if i need to do something else to get it to come off. If you wanna know why i am taking the pump off it's to put a aftermarket prop on. Thanks in advance i hope someone can steer me in the right direction. okey:

You gotta use the BFM (brute force method) It seems wierd, but itll just pop out. You need to push down a little bit, and pull straight out.

yup, down, to clear the locator pins, then back. it doesnt have to go down much.... just a c-hair to a skoash.

I found it easier to leave the front section with the wear ring bolted in, and just pull the stator section.

Thanks guys i got it it wasn't to bad just took a little bit of finagling around and wasn't to bad after all. I didn't realize that there was a little peg thing there keeping it from moving back. Once again thanks for the help!

ok another question i got the prop today from kevin at legdrag. So i am about to remove the old one. I know it says in the thread to to turn it clockwise, but my question is. Is it clockwise from when your looking at it from the driveshaft side i would assume?
