So I finally got my ski tuned and I've been ripping it hard now.
I had some other great footage today but my new to me gopro got knocked off of my chesty and I lost it..I was pissed. Luckily i got a little phone footage of my first boat wake roll attempt!

This isn't a big boat with ballast tanks or anything. Just a typical sea ray cruiser with two people on it. A little bigger of a wake and I easily would have made it all the way. And this was my first ever roll attempt off of a boat wake..I rode it out though!!!

Very nice!! Closer than I ever got on my first attempt, took me alot of blood to learn barrelrolls. Mucho respect for the trick that's for sure

Did you try to look under the ski? Tell me your process right up to it. It looked good, but seemed the rotation started a little late? I have no clue, haven't tried one yet but with some of your info I might give it a shot

I literally didn't try that hard. I pretty much did similar to a stab but continued to lean over. If I were to look under the ski and kept my pole low it would have been perfect. But that was my first try lol

My gopro went to the bottom of the lake that day so all I had available to me was iPhone footage...

Just busting your balls. I actually over roated a 180 nose stab roll thing yesterday and came out of my holds. I wish I would have had a pole limiting rope because I smashed up my nose piece.
It could have been way worse but it also could have been preventable.

I know exactly what you mean! Yesterday I popped out of my holds and I didn't have a rope on and the hazard bracket doesn't have stops, so my pole went 100% extended over the front end. Luckily no cables got damaged... Hit my shin and was a little dazed but I rode away fine with no real injuries thankfully...
