So getting my wife's ski ready for the season and finally got around to the pole.
Cutting went smooth and foam popped right out, the cut off part came right out of the bracket in one piece as well. Problem is there was no backing bracket where the rivets went through. I compared the pole to my fx-1 as well as measured it so I know it was not priorly cut.
So should I find a strip of metal to drill or just use some large washers when bolting it back together (after epoxy of course)?
