Quick question for Yamaha people

Someone at my local scrap yard dropped a trailer with an old lax Yamaha and 701 wetjet, my question is the wet jet is complete should I buy the motor and ebox out of it? I'm a kawi guy but is the power train something the super jet crowd can use? Has the big aluminumpipe with what looks like hand welded seams, really nicely done

Tons of good useable parts on both of those. Yamaha used a lot of the same parts across almost all their watercraft.
