Where do you guys buy your race gas? And about how much is it?

I've seen some at NAPA and even gas stations but figured there has to be a "good" place to buy it... and by good I mean cheapest :arms:

Our local Texaco stocks it 110 Octane $6.00 gal. 118 Octane $6.50 gal.
Three of our skis run 50/50 mix of 110 and 93 Octane

$4.00 for 110-Citgo locally at a few places. That was as of a month ago. Great price but a little confusing since premium went up to $3.30 in about the same time frame???

Local station here went to $5 from $4 this year GRRRRRR

Up to almost $7 for Sunoco 110 by me.

VP C-12 about $60 for 5 gal

VP U-2 about $70 for 5-gal..... mix those two and you got the fire!

In your neck of the woods I've bought VP at CyclePro in Santa Rosa in 5 gallon pails. Also, try Infineon Speedway.

or do a search on V{'s website for dealers. also go on rocket brand fuels site for race fuel pumps.... they are located around the country

it's "supposed" to be unleaded

Not unless you are racing and will be tested.

Oh, cool.

I wasn't sure if leaded was bad for these motors.

Can I mix supreme from the pumps wiht leaded? And can I go back adn forth from leaded to non or not ?

We have been mixing unleaded 93 with leaded 110 for over a year now and haven't had any issues with any of the skis.

Damn i need to find a place with race gas for 4-5. Its 8 dollars at sunoco up the street from my house. Someone told me to try a local small airfield and maybe they will have some cheaper. Anyone ever try that?

100 octane -AV gas I haven't personally but I know a few that run it.

I used to buy aviation fuel from our local regional airport for a race VW I had years ago but that was when $3.00 a gallon was outragous.

Just watched friends fill up their plane a couple weeks ago about an hour from here and it was around 4.50/gallon not to bad.

The last time I bought some aviation gas was back in the early 90's. $3 was alot for gas back then:biggrin:

We have a reginal race track near by, the gas station down the street from it sells cam-II for 6.29/gal 110 octane.
