SX/SXi/SXi Pro Rad Total Loss Flywheel with MSD Total loss setup?

Is it possible to run a Rad total loss flywheel with the MSD total loss kit? I had the ring gear go on my MSD and for the life of me cannot find a flywheel for it, I have however came across a few RAD flywheels which look very similar and looking at their kits have very similar pickups. It looks like it should work, just wanted to get someones feedback first to make sure. I really dont want to have to find and install all the stock ignition system.

To answer my own question in case anyone else would like to know in the future. As long as the RAD is also a total loss flywheel it will work with the MSD setup, atleast thats what I was told by a shop who deals with these setups quite often.

you can also get the ring gear on the msd replaced depending on who manufactured it for them.. when I had it done ,it cost 25 for the ring gear..

I had mine replaced on my jetnetics charging flywheel by them for 100 a few months ago. Mine used a stock ring gear though. they have some used ones they swap on for a flat fee of 100.

I called MSD directly and they had a new one sitting on the shelf that they sold me for $100. I will check around about getting the rig gear replaced on my current one to have a spare if not just buy a Jetnetics flywheel.

I'm resurrecting an old thread trying to find out where to get a new ring gear for an MSD total loss flywheel? I called MSD direct and they told me they don't sell the gear separate and never have. Does anyone know where to get one?
