Rattle can paint jobs?

I'm getting tired of looking at my plain white 440. I'm thinking of sanding it and painting the whole thing, or maybe just doing some creative masking and spraying a 2 color graphic with rattle cans and a few coats of clear coat.

Should not be too hard to emulate one of those $250 graphic kits with some good masking tape and paint.

Anyone else gone this route?

I did it with no clear and it looked just fine from 10ft back. The top deck had a ton of pinholes that would have taken forever to fill/smooth, so I spent $18 on Krylon and went to town.

unless you want a trailer queen, rattle your way to some decent results. Take it a step further; wet sand, clear coat w/ hardener, buff as needed.
