We are less than 3 days away from Rounds 7&8 of the Hot Water Tour.
The Hot Water Tour staff has been working hard behind the scenes to make this weekends race a fun filled event for everyone that will be attending. This is the Championship round of the 2007 Hot Water Tour and we have some fun festivities planned throughout the weekend.
We are pleased to have Mike Young from Surf and Turf Promotions coming down to help with the announcing throughout the weekend for us. Everyone knows that Mike Young is a veteran announcer and always seems to have a way to make things more fun and exciting. We are happy to have him and David “Boober” McConnell running the tower of power for us. Should be a good program as these two have worked with each other in the past.
On Saturday, September 15th, 2007, we have the “Hot Water Tour Championship Party” planned for everyone. We have hired a great local LIVE cover band to come and play for all racers, pit crews, spectators, and families starting right after the races till approximately 8:00-8:30 pm. The name of the band is IPD and you can check them out at www.myspace.com/ipd for any of their future dates and locations. Also, we will be having a BBQ run at the same time with hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. Should be a blast!! Don’t miss this one!!
On Sunday, September 16th, 2007, we will have Mowi Wowi Fruit Drinks and Smoothies in the house once again serving some great beverages to everyone. They also serve coffee in the morning, red bull to get that energy boost needed, and ice cold waters if needed along with authentic Hawaiian products. Check them out at www.smoothiesncoffee.com. Also, we will have our awards ceremony following the races and will be handing out Hot Water Tour Championship plaques, 2007 Regional Championship plaques, medals, and prizes. Great way to finish off the year!! See you there!!
