If you have newer stuff I can totally agree with going with OEM batteries , on this older Firestorm stuff it doesn't make financial sense to do that even if could find OEM batteries for stuff this old , basically these are back ups since I work in three different places , that way at least I don't have to tote drills and impacts from site to site , that old Firestorm impact and drill works amazingly well for what it is .

Metabo HPT which used to be Hitachi just released a plug in adaptor for all the multivolt stuff , if it will work on my tools I am definatly picking one up , they seem to be out of stock at Lowes right now though.

The batteries came in yesterday and I got this set all cleaned up and working again , the batteries are for Dewalt but they very smartly didn't make locating tabs at the top so they fit both Dewalt and B&D Firestorm tools , 423.84 from Temu but they arrived late so I get $5.00 off my next order . I had to cut off one small tab on the top of the case and the new style charger fits in there nicely now. Why Temu you ask where here is why , exact same tool holder $52.28 on Amazon ,

Cat Tools , so I am going off script a bit because so far I haven't see any deals on these , my biggest question was who actually makes them, this vid was very informative in that respect.

The numbers, including price look good though. Can't say I'm going to be one of the first to try it though. This website also really applauds everything about the truck. I'm not so sure.

Been wanting a Milwaukee battery heat gun for some time. Tried an off brand off of amazon and sent it back for low performance. But hesitant without trying one first. Had my chance yesterday and l was kind of let down by it’s performance. It doesn’t really blow that hard. l already had batteries, so l could get it fairly cheaply. lt needs a stronger fan to move more air.
