If you have newer stuff I can totally agree with going with OEM batteries , on this older Firestorm stuff it doesn't make financial sense to do that even if could find OEM batteries for stuff this old , basically these are back ups since I work in three different places , that way at least I don't have to tote drills and impacts from site to site , that old Firestorm impact and drill works amazingly well for what it is .
Metabo HPT which used to be Hitachi just released a plug in adaptor for all the multivolt stuff , if it will work on my tools I am definatly picking one up , they seem to be out of stock at Lowes right now though.
