before i go and put the motor all back together, which way should the arrow be pointing on my pistons? its a 750sx ski . should they be pointing at the my exhaust or at the intake manifold?

exhaust. you can also tell by where the rings sit. if you put them in wrong you will see the split in the exhaust port, that would be bad. arrow = exhaust side.

so intake ( A ---> ) Exhaust

thats the piston

yes. you can double check it when you set the cylinder on and rotate the motor by hand and look in the exhaust port.

If you want more comfirmation, the piston ring pins will be on the intake side. If they're on the exhaust side, they will instantly snag in the exhaust port before you even get the cylinder all the way down.
