Hello X!
I'm a owner of a couple super jets and overall huge yamaha enthusiast. I have been lurking in the forums for close to 10 years now and was looking for some help because I recently added a couch to my fleet, a 2006 GP1300R. Its got 100 hours, and overall great condition. Thing is a beast with a gnarly top end with one fatal flaw, it has a catalytic converter to meet emissions.
I'm looking for a mechanic / dealer in the greater Olympia, Wa area that can remove the GP1300R's catalytic converter, and replace with D-plate, along with swapping the O2 resistor to trick the computer. This is super popular and RIVA sells the kit. The work involves removing the entire exhaust assembly. I have sourced all of the parts and I'm looking for quality work, I take great pride in my machines, and typically try to do my own tuning, but with 2 stand ups a 5yr old and 1 yr old, I'm tapped out on time.
Seattle/Tacoma, Wa is accessible, but a little less desirable.
Portland, Or is accessible, but least desirable. (if the talent warrants it, but I could swing it)
Thanks for your time!
