Reduction Nozzle Filler

I'm wondering what people have used to fill in the holes left in an OE reduction nozzle after removing either the visibility spout fitting or the stock siphon fitting? I've prepped mine very well, filled it with JB weld, and sanded it back flush and I've had the JB Weld break off of it twice now. Wondering if there are any better solutions that are more durable?

I've done super half ashed prep with a wad of waterweld and even with just squirting a bunch of silicon in the hole and not had it come out. I suppose power level matters here though.
