refoaming the tray help

I have the tray cut out of my squarenose and was wondering what the best way is to re foam it. Should I glass the tray back in and drill holes and dump the foam in or put the foam in first and them trim it down and glass in the tray. If I should glass the tray in first how many holes should I drill and where

just redid mine in my square....its under the freestyle square build, used 3lb foam from us composites, poor it in the front big hole, trim in flush, drill two holes on the gunwalls to poor behind foot holds and fill the walls, trim flush again, use a hole saw when you drill the holes so you can epoxy the inserts back in, then reinforce the tray w/ glass, wasnt really hard just time consuming........

Foam it first, (expanding foam). Then sand it down and make it flush with the rear bond line. Glass over the foam.

--Easiest way, you can't miss anything--

If you decide to glass it first and then drill holes, you "might" leave a few areas hollow.

I glassed first, then stood the ski upright on it's nose. Cut a hole in the rear of each gunwale and poured the foam in through each of them. After it expanded all the way out of the holes, cut it, sanded and glassed over the holes. There won't be any hollow spots because it has to rise all the way from the front upwards out the back. Way less sanding and shaping then foaming before glassing. But everyone has their own way. I've got pics in an album in my profile.
