We are less than 6 days away from Rounds 7&8 of the Hot Water Tour.
Once again, Beautiful Downtown St. Petersburg Florida hosts Rounds 7&8 of the Hot water Tour the weekend of September 15th and September 16th 2007, at Spa Beach along side the beautiful St. Petersburg Pier. That’s less than 10 days away so make your plans to attend this great event. Huge congratulations go out to all the racers that competed at the APBA Watercross Nationals in Nashville this past weekend! It was great to see so many Region 7 racers stepping it up and doing well at the National level. We hope that everyone takes the enthusiasm and energy from that event and comes to the Hot Water Tour Championship round ready to compete. This is also a great opportunity to be at the top of your game and get ready for the 2007 IJSBA World Finals shortly after this final round. We also would like to see some of our Northern friends come out and race in Florida. We would love to have you here and the St. Pete Pier is a site that everyone loves. Also, don’t forget about the special promotions we are running to not only help grow the sport, but also save you some money as well. On Sunday, September 16th, the 2007 Hot Water Tour Championship and APBA Regional Championship plaques will be handed out at the awards ceremony. So you Regional Champions need to come out and pick those up as well as those competing for the Hot Water Tour overalls. This is also the first race of the 2008 National High Points Championships so you can get a jump start on next year.
Summer is nearing its end, and the race season is slowly coming to a close. The Hot Water Tour staff has been working hard behind the scenes to make this a great Championship Round event. For those looking to compete, please register early as this helps the staff out tremendously. All you riders that are on the fences to compete, get off the couch and hit the water!! This should be a fun event that should not be missed!!

The St. Petersburg Pier is a great race site and has been a favorite of racers for many years. We encourage everyone to come out, even if you are not a participant, as this is one of the most spectator friendly venues the tour offers. Spectators can stand along side the side pier and get up close to all the action as the racers run along side the pier which allows for some great photo opportunities as they go by.
