pro tapers, or my preference, Tag's T2 bars have a wider middle section and require different clamps to accomidate them. The stock steering stem allows these clamps to bolt on (with slight modification to the clamps to remove the bottom hump. The UMI steering has a built in bevel on the stem, and it's too narrow for the bars to sit in snug. A little fileing to open up the stem will do the trick.
If you aren't interested in modifying your steering stem, and aren't concerned with doing bar hops, I'd recommend a cross bar style bar.
