If you mean the tray where you stand, then you can repair it with fiberglass & polyester resin if it is a 96 or newer SJ. If you mean the padding in the tray then just order a hydroturf mat kit and replace the cut up turf..

You never ever use poly resin. Id doesnt stick properly to the hull... Gotta use epoxy resin. Also your going to have to make something up for a tray... there isnt anything avalible off the shelf.

Top decks on 96 & up are polyester based as far as I know. 90-95 were SMC and required epoxy to bond. I said polyester because it will bond, is cheaper, and sets up quick. I prefer epoxy resins for repairs and would use it as a personal preference. Epoxy systems are slower but no worries about bonding or strength if done right. Send some pics of your work and maybe we can tell if it looks strong enough.

hha i already got it trufed up.... cause i just had to ride. but nnow im going to be putting new holds in and might want to look over my tray again

just glass in a aluminum plate into the bottom of the tray..thats what im gonna do cause my heels crack through my deck...
