you dont NEED the enclosures
most people dont run them
if you install them, foot position options are limited
as they take significant room on the tray

I am going to be getting REV footholds as well. i was gonna use them without the enclosures. Does any body know about the Josh Lostic Freestlye Hydro turf kit for the 750sx. It says for dawson digger footholds buy i imagine you can cut shape it for any foot holds. any input?

I doubt seriously that the pre-cut mat kit from Blowsion (or any other pre-cut kit) will work with the REVS. Just buy you some sheets and use a heat gun to shape.

I don't have REVs, but I made some enclosures out of the glass I cut out of side of the tray. I'll probably make them smaller so they just hold my toes in a little this winter. I've had them all summer. A couple times I couldn't get my feet out when I was falling to the side, and I'm kinda worried about a tib/fib break.

I really like have my enclosures but I also very rarely ever take my feet out of the footholds. Riding with one foot forward actually hurts my back so I just straighten my legs and lean forward with my feet in the holds.

Anyway, I would say there is a slightly higher chance that you'll break a leg or ankle with the enclosures but I also think the slightly higher chance is made moot by reducing the chance of coming out of the footholds in a jump and landing with one leg.

The enclosures don't really lock your foot in place, they just help hold it in. I certainly have some wiggle room in my holds. Think about like loose toe clips on a bicycle.

How much turf should i buy to do the bottom mat, the side rails with footholds, dash pad, and the side bumpers?

Check out the Trinity holds, they are the best of both worlds...with the super deep and partial enclosure design they hold you in great with out taking up valuble tray space. They are the shiz!

They cost a little more but they will never blow out. Worth the extra cost for quality and comfort. imo

Those look pretty wicked! like it was said they are partially encloused without taking up tray room. They say they fit the SJ without hitting the pipe. Does the same apply on the 750sx?
