rickter edge or xfr

Hello everyone!
For 22 years, I have been riding a Superjet amateur old school style only for fun with friend. I have modifications such as MSD, B-pipe, ADA head..... Now the time has come and I would like to buy my dream RICKTER, but I am not sure which model, Edge, Xfr, and which engine setup. I ride on the sea , no ocean, rather freeride on waves and old school tricks. And of course I would also like to learn backflip and other new style tricks even though I’m 53...
The question is, that the Edge or XFR is beter for old school, like submarine, barell, fountain and for a beginners backflip?
Any recommendations or experience you had would be appreciated. Thanks in advance ...

They're both good in their own way. Don't count on either of those being great at old school tricks, that's what your Superjet is for. See what others are doing with their skis, pick on based on what works for you in your conditions. Ultimately, you're going to want both.

I wish Rickter still made the Edge Hoods with handholds. I keep saying that I was going to cut some holds in, just not gotten around to it. Like you, I am an old School Freestyler..... I keep thinking I would be better off going back to a SJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
