Custom/Hybrid Rickter FR-2 electrical box install?

Hey guys i have my Fr-2 and im at the stage that i need to install the electrical box i have a stock Yamaha ebox and i will need to mount it to the right side of the ski do to the Bpipe. How do you guys mount these? Do u put a plate on the side of the hull and then mount off of that or mount the box right onto the fiberglass?

Any help would be great and if you guys have any pics that would me amazing.

Taylor Curtis uses the same washers that are used for the footholds and bolts it through the side of the hull. I'm pretty sure he uses the Cold Fusion mount to get the bolt pattern seen below... Any RRP dealer should be able to sell you the washers.

If I had to mount it in that hull I would make a stainless steel bracket and glass it into the side of the hull

I'm in the same boat as you right. I'm going to be glassing a SS mount to the side of the hull. Even TC recommends it if you're running a B-pipe

I ran the cold fusion bracket and monted it to the side a bit to allow room for the b-pipe

Hey Sneds! Been to long man, hope all is going well. Ya i hope to have this thing in the water this year ill have to take a drive and come ride with you guys.

SS (Stainless Steel). Im just going to make one and glass it into the hull and then put a piece of carbon or glass over it to hide it so you would only see the bolts that the ebox mounts to. Someone on here did that i cant remember who but it came out really clean.

Why can't you mount it on the rear firewall? I have a B pipe and mine is back there.

I have a front foot hold and the dash is slanted where it's flat on the inside fire wall.

I can't install mine there due to I am going to be running the rrp back gas tank

The oem ebox mounts came in today and i was able to find a 12"x6" carbon fiber plate 1/4" think going to try and mouth the oem mounts to the carbon and then glue the carbon plate to the haul and see how that works out, Prob start that in 2 weeks... works been crazy ill post some pics when i get started

Hey guys took a while but man work got crazy and the build had to be put on hold but i got the ebox all mount and in, Its a bit to forward i wish i had mounted it a bit closer to the carbs but everything seems to fit and the exhast hose clears too.
