Rickter FXU?

Searching for my first AM ski and came across what seems to be a good deal on a Rickter XFU, JM motor, RRP pole, b-pipe etc. I've never heard off and can't find any info on the XFU hull. Anybody have experience with these or any information on them? Thanks!

There is no such thing, what you are looking at is a hull that was built as a direct copy of a Rickter XFS. Some have bought this hull and it has held up, others, no so much........

So, you are fine supporting someone who copies Rickter Hulls and sells them as their own. Most would at least try and make some changes. Good luck, Please dont come complaining when he rips you off or your hull starts de-laminating.

If this is the hull I saw advertised recently it was clearly stated in the ad that it was not a genuine Rickter. To me that is at least a little bit more honest, I can still see how people wouldn't like it though. Putting "XFU" on the side is somewhat of a hint.

If it is the gray one, it had to have extensive repairs last year to make it rideable. Which honestly is probably one of the better ones now.......

If you had him make you a new one, I'm not so sure they are all that much cheaper than the real mcCoy and then you run the risk that corners were cut in the build process. I hear his quality has improved over the years and that's a damn good thing. I just saw the grey one for sale...... again
