If you need 6 inches the 90-95 cable will be too short. But that is the appropriate oem cable for the fs-2.

OEM square nose cable is what was recommended to me when I built my FS-2's. That recommendation came from Jose at RRP. You wont be able to run the steering cable through the entire length of grey tubing. You have to cut a small hole in the tube (inside the hull) and feed the steering cable through it. The cable will then route over top of the water box. This will shorten the route the cable has to take and the square nose cable will fit. The cable will then route between the engine mounts on the carb side of the motor. I can send you pictures if it will help.

It is the best steering cable I have ever used. Super beefy.
Shut up about "retardedly expensive". I paid $279 for it a couple years ago. :soapbox:

I dont want to hear it! I have bought 2 of them already..... both at $280. LOL! Great cable, but even $180 is still retarded expensive for a steering cable.

Ran into a little problem tonight I put the motor in an mounted the ebox up went to go put the b pipe head pipe an I can't get it on there isn't any clearance the pipe hits the lip of the hull only way I can get it on is if I lossen the motor an slide it to the nose of the ski an there is a half inch gap in the mid shaft couplers anyone can help me here that would be awesome I'm stuck in a corner

I know the rickter XFS come with two drive line spacer to move the motor forward one inch per spacer so there is more clearance on the b-pipe.

An where do these spaces go behind the mid shaft ? Wouldn't that make it have less contact with the drive shaft splines
