Rickter/SJ build cables to short

My buddy just built a rickter using a stock SJ and a new motor. its complete and starts...But... the steering cable and throttle cable are too short? any suggestions or anything you think is done wrong.

Why did you post this in pics and vids??

Change the cables to the longer SN cables(pre 96) and you will be fine.

i didnt put any prefix its just in anythiong and thanks but we have a week of riding maybe lol no SN and were in labardor canada very secludued ha but thanks

I had to borrow xjcrawlers sn throttle cable and and a multiple hole throttle drum

www.thrustinnovations.com has the cables 6 inches longer for Rickters

The Blowsion heavy duty steer cable is also longer and works great with the Rickter as long as you are not running trim. It uses US thread (not metric) so the trim spacers do not fit it. SN SJ throttle cable works perfect.
