Rickter Ski Ratings

Do any of you fellow FX1 nuts own , or had the chance to ride a Rickter stand up..? They look like an unreal freestyle ski , and all the posts i have watched make them look fairly easy to ride.... Is this the case or do any of you dudes know otherwise , just like to know. (I have one on my "wish list" if some day my ship comes in ) Thanks...

If you can ride a fx1 you can ride a rickter, rickter is a broad terms, they have made alot of different hulls, they all ride different, ie, FS: 1 ,2 evo, xfs, etc etc.

We had 2 FX1's, then I bought a Rickter, now we have 2 Rickters and no FX1's. I showed my wife this thread and she laughed saying "We would never go back!". All models are different and for different types of riding, The EVO and the Edge are my favorite since I am too old to learn how to flip!

Cool , which model is "classed" as the best for flips...?

The xfs doesn't feel like a tiny ski like some of them out there. They are wide and stable too

I have 2 really nice FX1s for sale. 1 is a mint condition hull only. Riding the surf especially on choppy windy days with an FX1 is just to much work! The new after market hulls are just so stable and turn so well on the face of the wave. IMO you have to do so much glass work to an FX1 to get it dialed in its better just to get a hull designed for what you need. I almost pulled the trigger on an XFR but went with the Krash 50 cal instead. I know looking around at Rickters TC Free Ride had the best customer service and spent the time with me answering all my questions and really seemed to care about what ski I needed. They would be 1st on my list if I ever decide to go with a Rickter hull.

yeah i sold my fx1 for a predator and i would way rather ride that beast of a ski in the lake than the fx1. no point to even comment about the surf differences lol I realize were talking flat water here but just puttin in my 2 cents on the subject. Best part about the fx1 is that 61x will power any aftermarket hull nicely.

Wrong side of 50. Lol. XFS if your looking to FW flip. Shoot me a PM and i can offer a ton more details via phone. Would like a bunch more details on your current set up and ride experience to offer more info

Like said above, if you can ride an fx1, you can probably ride a rickter even better. If your chasing flips the xfr/xfs is what you want. The xfs ninja is probably the most comfortable "flatwater" hull ive been on. Its very user friendly and stable.

I am really enjoying my 16 XFR I just built. I've only had it running the past two weeks but its so stable and easy to ride. I had to make some changes on the motor and whatnot to ride it this summer, but next year it'll be even better. I need to update my build log with everything I learned and document all the details.
