Ski's built and took her out for the first ride on an XFS yesterday.

Ride report:

To ride around it feels a bit lighter than a jet, carves really well for a shorter hull - its no Jet/FR2/SXR but you can slash it about nicely with the 45' rails hooking in. The good news is its not a 'wheelie machine' like some backflip hulls I've ridden, it planes out nicely from landing without effort or fuss. What seems to give this hull the height is the rocker, not so much the weight.

Rolls - these are effortless on this hull it climbs instantly and rotates around the nose.

Jumps - you can easily be 6 - 8ft without trying, you just have to watch it doesn't rotate into a bugerflip by leaning a little forwards at take off - I bailed out of 2 x jumps today because they were much higher than I'm comfortable with so far.

Backflip - never tried a surf or flat water backie, or a burger flip - I knew from looking at Dan Rowans facebook pics that the ski would do it and the new Loki motor with PFP is an absolute animal. So set the wake up today dropped into the trough with no boat speed, pulled the trim, reefed the throttle and looked back... The video explains the rest...Nosed it in on the 2nd attempt.

All in all I'm stoked with this ski - I ordered it without a test ride and I've sweated it for 7months.. I was expecting it to be good, but this is 10 - 20% better in every area..

Motor - the PFP power band is similar to the B pipe low down and early mid, at this point the B pipe power band is strong but remains the same - the PFP then comes 'on the pipe' at mid and upwards - this zing is what gives the height, you need to think before squeezing the trigger if you plan on letting the revs build to the top end - it fires you up like a rocket!

What don't I like? - The footholds need some adjustment and extra padding to lock in properly, I only 90% trust them and did come out half way round on one of the backies - that split second thought of 'don't let go' flashed through my mind, but I figured I was leaving anyway. Had visions of a 'ball braker' onto the pole :)

The electric shocks it occasionally gives me up the throttle trigger - must have a TL gremlin in there that I'll look at - couldn't stop riding it today even though it was firing bolts down my right arm LOL!
