Freestyle Rickter XFS Pump Question

I've ordered an XFS and I know the new hulls accept a 155 pump. I don't have the cash right now to put in a 155 MAG (I'll probably put one in next winter). I have a line on a 155 pump out of a Yamaha Waveventure. I was thinking of putting it in this year and maybe upgrade to the MAG next year. If I can put the Wave Venture 155 in it, it would save me the hassle of changing the pump shoe from a 144 to 155 later. Will this pump work in the XFS hull? If so, will the stock 144 driveshaft and bearings work in it?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I'm going to order a 155 impeller to go with the pump. My original plan was to put the Solas 144 pump in it with a 14/19 Solas impeller and upgrade to a 148 MAG next year or the year after. However, if I can put in a 155 now and buy a new impeller for it and upgrade to a 155 MAG later, I thought that would be a better plan. I'm not sure how the stock 155 pump will perform against the 144 Solas MAG though... Thanks for the feedback!

To answer some of your questions...

I'm running a DASA 1100 10mm, Power Factor, Novi 48's, and TL.

I've talked to Jose at RRP and he assures me the 155 fits in the new hulls.

does the 155mm pump shoe fit in the xfs or are they designed for the 144?
I though only the Ninja was able to accept the 155+ pumps

We had fit a 155 Skat in a standard fiberglass XFS, but the 155 pump shoe does not fit easily. There is a lot of grindind to do to make it fit. I heard the same thing about the ninja. Max Baroero et Hiro himself take a couple of days to intall the pump in the ninja. Talk with Brian or Chris at thrust they will give you more details, im sure they know the answer.

Emailed Thrust this morning and Chris said to keep it simple and go with the Solas 144 Mag for now. There would be a lot of testing if I went the stock 155 because he wouldn't know what impeller pitch to recommend. So, I guess that's the path I'll head down at this point. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
