Riding the 2014 super jet

Chan kind of pissed me off this summer (turned out to be ignition issues that ATP is working on currently). So I got back to the roots and threw tubbies on my 98 sj loved it. then a deal came up on a used 14 sj at the local yamaha store Bott Yamaha in Idaho falls. Long story short wrote a check for a ski i have never ridden and I love it. Its so new and tight, and has more power than my tired original 98 motor had. I will list a few things I noticed it had that I have never seen mentioned before that are great improvements.

It has a a raider trim nozzle that it mounted in a fixed position. looks like you take the bracket off and buy a cable and lever and blam you have trim.

inside of the hull is dark gray not white.

spherical bearing on the steering cable to nozzle mount for less slop.

shorter pole turn plate mount. Also makes using a 07 cable not possible.

different chin pad material

different warning stickers ect

corners like a boss might need a scoop intake grate is all. ride it. I dont see the point in having power in a sj hull. stock power is great for rec riding. it will never flip or roll and stock power makes cornering lots easier. but has enough to leg drag. big power belongs in aftermarket hulls.

I love my 09 with footholds quick steer and older steering cable.
It not as playful as older SJ's but it does leg drag and sit turn like a MOFO WFO!!

It's called beaver dick park. For reals... He was a trapper 150 yrs ago they named the park after him. It's super shallow but close and easy.
