Surfriding Riding zone pre ride dates

We are planning on coming in early Wednesday. Can we ride in front of the hotel Wednesday and Thursday or are we gonna have to go down to the normal ride zone?

someone posted that you can ride before the event but must follow all the coast guard regulations...

at the event you are not required to have registration #s or even be registered...

ill probably be there early as well but might not put ski in water till thursday

The ride zone for January is right in front of the Makai (the old freeride location). I'll be riding there from this Sunday until the event.

Exactly, The normal beach ride zone is open 7 days a week from 9-5PM before, during, and after the event. It is where the freeride used to be at the cardinal street beach access. The special zone for the freeride will be open thurs.-sun. behind the new host hotel.

I'm going up this weekend to help him wrap it up. His parts should be in Thursday or Friday to have it all done. He's got plenty of pics, I'm sure he'll make a thread once it's complete.

U need to get ur own ski dialed son. Strap the oxygen mask to yourself before assisting others. I really don't want to hear any whining in Daytona if your ski isn't right. PS. I'm good to go. Lake is BRISK! And I'm not yelling.

i know its cold. what wetsuit were you wearing? my 3mm has been doing the job this year so far. but i double up on the socks so its like 5mm on my feet. Im going to go help robby friday or saturday. if im feeling better. i didnt think this sickness would last 5 days. its usually a couple days then im good. then ill wrap up my ski sunday. my ski runs, just not jetted 100%. its in a flippable state of running
